Tarantella II, Swan 37

S/y Tarantella II, Swan 37-016 oli ensimmäinen vesille laskettu Swan 37 kesäkuussa 1970, ostajana Heinz Ramm-Schmidt. Vuonna 1992 Leif Ramm-Schmidt osti veneen isältään, joten Tarantella II on ollut Ramm-Schmidtin perheen omistuksessa alusta alkaen.

Veneellä on lukuisia voittoja eri kisoissa vuodesta 1970–2012. Kuvassa Tarantella II on matkalla ensimmäiseen Gotland Runt kokonaisvoittoonsa vuonna 1971. Vene oli myös Turun Swan 40-vuotiskisan kokonaisvoittaja vuonna 2006, kuten myös 50-vuotiskisan voittaja vuonna 2016. Miehistön jäsenistä kolmasosa on ollut mukana kisaamassa Swan veneillä jo Tarantella I:n ajoilta vuodesta 1967. Tarantella I (runkonumero 36/001) oli Nautorin ensimmäinen vesille laskettu Swan vene. Kesällä 2018 Nautorin perustaja Pekka Koskenkylä vieraili Tarantellassa, oheisessa kuvassa rakas jälleennäkeminen, jossa mukana hänen ensimmäinen asiakkaansa Heinz Ramm-Schmidt (98) ja hänen kolme purjehtivaa jälkipolveaan.

S/y Tarantella II, Swan 37-016 was the first Swan 37 to be launched in June 1970, buyer Heinz Ramm-Schmidt.

Leif Ramm-Schmidt took over Tarantella II from his father in the year 1992, thus she has been in the ownership of the Ramm-Schmidt family from the very beginning.

The boat has achieved a great number of victories in different races during the years 1970 – 2012. In the picture, Tarantella II is sailing for her first Over All victory in the Round Gotland Race in the year 1971. She was Over All winner of the Swan 40^thAnniversary Regatta in Turku in the year 2006 and also the winner in the 50^thAnniversary Regatta in Turku in the year 2016. One-third of the present crew has been racing with Swan boats already from Tarantella I times in the year 1967. Tarantella I (hull number 36/001) was the very first Nautor Swan to be launched. In summer 2018 Pekka Koskenkylä, founder of Nautor Oy, visited Tarantella, in an enclosed picture a dear rendezvous with his first customer Heinz Ramm-Schmidt (98) together with three generations of Ramm-Schmidt sailors.
